Welcome to Camping de la Touche!
Camping de la Touche is set in the Loire Valley in central France and offers you the tranquillity of 10 acres of quiet rural French countryside. We offer electric hook-ups some with hard standing, fully equipped Timber Tents sleeping up to 4 persons and a separate camping field for tents (no electric) set between two rivers.
Camping de la Touche has a large plunge pool, small children's play area, B.B.Q area and fishing available (local license required). Amenities include Toilets and showers with constant hot water and a well appointed prep room with Laundry facilities.
There is an abundance of wild life including coypus and squirrels and a variety of wild birds including green and yellow woodpeckers, tits, finches and birds of prey. Our small shop sells a variety of essential goods and food including eggs from our own free range chickens. A small cafe/takeaway is proposed for the summer of 2008.
We are only 5mins away from Ligueil centre which is well served with Bakers, Restaurants and Supermarket. 15 mins away is the Market town of Loches and 50 mins away the city of Tours with its own airport and all the major stores.
We are open all year and are well situated for breaking the journey to Spain and beyond for all the winter sun seekers, we also offer year round storage at very competitive rates
